SSE Reduces Unit Price for Household Gas

SSE, the UK's second largest energy provider, is set to reduce its unit price for household gas by 4.5% beginning from 26 March 2012.

Based upon the typical annual household gas consumption of 16,500kWh, the provider claims that the move should save customers £28 per year on household energy bills. This latest unit price reduction is equivalent to 3.8% off of the annual bill of a typical British home.
